It's time to say goodbye to some nasty old bugs! This week a firmware update for the HTC Incredible S Desire HD, Nexus One, Nexus S, Apple iPhone 3G and Apple iPhone 4

HTC Desire HD and HTC Incredible S - Android 2.3 Gingerbread

HTC's top models Incredible S and Desire HD get an update to the latest version of Android . Both machines were previously running Android 2.2 Froyo. This is improved with an update. The update comes with a number of improvements to the operating system of Google. Besides a better energy management and support for VoIP calls, the system should also be slightly faster than before. The update is available over-the-air soon.

Nexus S and Nexus One - Android 2.3.4

The latest version of the Android phones that were released under the, will be rolled out soon. Most important new feature for the Nexus S and Nexus One in the firmware is video chat for Google Talk. In addition, a few bugs are fixed. You can update over the air. On a number of forums, there is also an unofficial and unsupported way to upgrade, to meet the needs of impatient Nexus owners.

iPhone 3G and iPhone 4 - IOS 4.3.3

Apple has (again) released a new version of IOS. This version is a response to negative publicity when it came out that the iPhone stores location information. Install the update, and these data are truly not saved if this option is disabled. If you choose to enable the location option, the data is now encrypted by default. Installing on the iPhone 3G S and iPhone 4 can be done by connecting your phone to iTunes.
