LinkedIn comes with Symbian app


The social network for business users, LinkedIn has launched an app for Symbian^3 launched. After Android, BlackBerry an IOS, Symbian^ 3 is the fourth operating system which gets an app from the American company.

Although Symbian is increasingly losing terrain in the consumer market in favor of competing systems, there are many business users with one of Nokia's full keyboard phones, such as the E7. Even though they eventually will have to switch to another system, LinkedIn took time anyway to come with an app for the operating system of the current generation of top models from Nokia.

Nokia will soon switch to Windows Phone. The main models of the Finnish phone manufacturer will be equipped with this OS. Although Symbian support will continue for some time, the system will soon be found on fewer and fewer devices. The LinkedIn app for Symbian is available via the Ovi Store.
