Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Series leaks before launch
This fall, Samsung will release a new series of smartwatches called the Galaxy Watch 8. As we previously mentioned, the Watch 8 Classic will feature a "squircle" design that combines a circle and a square. Today, we also revealed what the Watch 8 and the new Watch Ultra will look like.
AndroidHeadlines has managed to secure press images of the Samsung Watch 8, the Watch 8 Classic and the new Watch Ultra. The lineup will look similar to the the first Watch Ultra, which introduced the controversial squircle design.
Galaxy Watch 8
The standard Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 has the fewest frills, but it looks bulkier due to its new design. Opinions on its beauty are somewhat divided. Unlike the Watch 8 Classic and the new Watch Ultra, the watch does not have a central button. As with the Watch 7, we find two control buttons on the right side.

Galaxy Watch 8 Classic
Thanks to published renders and photos of someone posting the watch on eBay, the Watch 8 Classic was revealed earlier than expected. Samsung may fit a rotating bezel around the screen to make the different design less noticeable. There may only be one size of the watch; a 46mm version. However, we expect two sizes for the entry-level Watch 8.

Galaxy Watch Ultra 2
Then there's the Watch Ultra 2, as we currently call it. We see it in a silver-gray case with a dark blue Navy strap. Judging from the image, there appears to be no difference from the current Galaxy Watch Ultra. We do not rule out the possibility that Samsung is just releasing a new color for this reason.

Galaxy Watch 8 series announcement
That leaves only one question: When will Samsung announce these three new smartwatches? There have been no specific dates or times mentioned in the rumor circuit yet. However, based on previous Unpacked events where Samsung unveiled new Galaxy Watches, July and August seem like the most logical months.
Once they are announced, we presumably won't have to wait long before they hit stores. The prices are not yet known, but they will be in line with those of its predecessors.
