Benchmark Motorola Droid 3 is disappointing

Chinese phone enthusiasts have managed to get hold of the Motorola Droid 3, the new Android flagship of the U.S. phone creator. They ran some benchmarks on the device. These were disappointing.

Compared with Android-top models from other manufacturers such asa href="Samsung-Galaxy-S-II/">Samsung Galaxy SII, the Droid 3 doesn't catch up, according to the reviewers. The device is reportedly already coming to the market in July, but there is still much work to do for the programmers of Motorola. It is not uncommon for Android phones with a beta version of the software to look bad in benchmarks, so we have hope of improvement, because the specs of the device look reasonable.

The device has a 4 inch screen, and a 1 GHz dual core processor. Small disappointment is that the Droid 3 has only 512 MB of memory. The Droid 3 is the successor of the Droid 2, which hit the shelves in Europe as Milestone 2. The Droid / Milestone series is characterized by a Slide-Out QWERTY keyboard.
