HTC Desire Z - Android 2.3 Gingerbread
HTC brings its only model in the product range that includes a slide-out keyboard for Android 2.3. The Desire Z is the seventh phone in the programme of HTC that comes with this version of Android. According to Mark Moons, Country Manager Benelux at the Taiwanese manufacturer, the company is still in leading position when comparing the number of phones that is brought to the new Android version.
The update for the Desire Z comes Over the Air. Some users have already reported that the new version is offered to their device, so it should not take long before the update gets to your phone. To avoid high costs, it is better to download the firmware if you are connected to a WiFi network.
