It's time to say goodbye to some nasty old bugs! This week a firmware update for the Nokia E72, N97 mini, E5, X6, E52, 6700 Slide, C5-03, 5230, 5800 Xpress Music and 5330 XpressMusic.
Symbian 3.2 and 5.0
This week we have a mega update for your Nokia handset. If you have one of these devices, there's an update for you: NNokia E72, Nokia E52, Nokia E5, Nokia C5-00, Nokia 6700 slide, Nokia C6-00, Nokia C5-03, Nokia 5230, Nokia X6, Nokia N97 mini, Nokia 5800 XpressMusic or a Nokia 5530 XpressMusic.
Besides the usual bugfixes, the Nokia software team improved several functions. This gives users a better Internet experience with a new browser, similar to the browser that will soon be available with Symbian Anna. It brings faster browsing, and also supports international domain names and Arabic and Chinese characters.
Nokia Maps, the free navigation of Nokia, has been improved as well. On Symbian 3.2 devices it is now possible to find indoor positions via WiFi. Symbian 5.0 users can send updates via Nokia Maps with on their social networks.
Nokia 5230 and C6-00
From now on the update available is for Nokia 5230 and Nokia C6-00, in the coming weeks, the other models will follow. Nokia encourages users to activate the checkbox for automatic software updates on their handset. If you activate it, the update is visible on your handset when it becomes available.
