Motorola added three new mobile phones to her musical ROKR series; the ROKR EM30, EM28 and EM25.
The Motorola ROKR EM30, ROKR EM28 and ROKR EM25 are optimalised for music. There is something for everybody. The EM30 has a monoblock format and looks quite a lot like the ROKR E8. Also, the EM30 has, just like the E8, a "morphend" keyboard. This means that the keyboard will adjust itself automatically to the application you're using. At one moment a button is a number, for example when someone is calling you, but at another moment the same button is used to forward music. Does this sound confusing? Every modus has its own colour. Numbers are being portraited in blue, music buttons are red. Motorola calls this the ModeShift technology.
Furthermore, the ROKR EM30 has a built-in FM radio including RDS. With RDS you get to know what kind of artist is playing on the radio. What's also very handy is the fact that you can use your own headset thanks to the 3.5mm stereo headset exit.
MOTOROKR EM28
The other buttons are shaped differently. Like the EM28; a stylish and compact clamshell. A user can control the device thanks to the touch sensitive buttons on the side. This comes to handy when you want to save that one particular number. Also, you can see on the display on the outside which number you're dialing.
The ROKR EM28 has 3D sound effects and a built-in equalizer with 11 different settings. And the EM28 has a bass amplificateur.
MOTOROKR EM25
At last Motorola delivers the ROKR EM25; a slider with FM radio sharing possibilities. With its external music buttons you can glance through your music easily. Thanks to the FMShare technique it is possible to record your favorite music and use it as a ringtone.
Lately, Motorola has problems with selling their products. Music is important to almost everyone and therefore it is not difficult to imagine why Motorola is focussing on music characteristics. Lets just hope it works out for them, with these stylish new mobile phones. The launch date of the mobile phones is to be expected in this quarter. Prices are not yet known.
