Motorola Defy+ presented: waterproof Android phone

Motorola (or should we say Google?) Has just presented a new device: the Defy+. The phone is an upgrade of the Defy, a phone that was already on the market in many countries.

The Defy is, unlike its predecessor, shipped with Android 2.3.4, and has a 1 GHz processor instead of a 800 MHz one. The Defy+ already leaked through the German website of operator O2. The look remains the same as the Defy. The unit is waterproof and shockproof.

The Defy+ comes on the day it became known that Motorola Mobility, the maker of the unit, is acquired by Google. The search giant thus became a hardware supplier, but has decided to continue Motorola independently. Google bought the company mainly due to the fully stocked patents library.
