In an internet-broadcas tLG launched two new Android smartphones, that already had been announced. Both LG Optimus One and Optimus Chic run Android 2.2 Froyo and have a 600 Mhz processor.
With the new handsets, LG wants to reach consumers buying their first smartphone. To help them find new applications in the Android Market, LG created the 'App advisor', that advises ten new applications every two weeks.
Tragetting different kinds of consumers
Although the specifications of both phones are similar- the Chic a better camera, LG targets different kinds of consumers. The Chic is meant for customers conscious of fashion (read: women), the
