New pictures show a Sony Ericsson that has been unknown for a while. The smartphone has a large screen, and could be the next Android flagship from the Japanese/Swedish smartphone brand.
The handset is remarkably thin, much thinner than the smartphones we've seen until now. The handset has a large 4.3 inch screen, as large as the one on the HTC Desire HD. Sony Ericsson follows the trend of larger smartphone screens.
Double camera?
According to the rumours, the phone has double camera, one on the frontside and one on the backside. The camera on the backside is said to be able to record in 1080p. We haven't seen that on a smartphone.
The X12, codenamed Anzu, runs Android 2.1, rumour has that there will be an update to 2.3 Gingerbread before release, but there's no official source for that, as all information about the X12 is unofficial for now.
