realme unveils GT 7 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Elite for Chinese market

Even before the realme GT 7 is announced, realme brings us the GT 7 Pro. This flagship will be equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite and an immense 6500 mAh battery. For now, the device will be released only in China but a global launch is on the horizon.

realme is increasingly becoming a brand to be reckoned with. While it markets many low-cost Android smartphones, its high-end flagships are also piquing our interest. So does the realme GT 7 Pro which is one of the first smartphones with Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

This should make the GT 7 Pro a true gaming phone. A large dual heatsink has been chosen to provide high-quality graphics performance for long periods of time. Images are viewed on the 6.78-inch Samsung OLED screen. According to the realme website, this is an Eco² Sky Screen with a maximum peak brightness of 6000 nits.

6500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging

Charging is as realme usual very fast, with a whopping 120W. Although we wonder if with a 6500 mAh large battery you will see a charger often. We rarely see such a large capacity. Wireless charging is not among the options.

realme delivers the GT 7 Pro with the self-developed realme UI 6.0 shell built on Android 15. To get your hands on a copy you will have to book a plane ticket to China. Expect the device to hit stores in other countries at a later date, possibly in late November 2024.
