The Sony Ericsson Kate has been announced last week. The device is offically named the C510.
Just to remind you of the information we know thusfar of the C510: it is a Cybershot device with 3.2 megapixel camera, smile-shot and face recognition. The cameralens is protected by the lens-cover. The device is also probably going to have camera short keys, comparable with the internet short keys of the K660i.
No 5 megapixel
Readers who are paying attention are probably noticing that we haven't mentioned the 5 megapixel camera before. There is another phone the 'Kate' gets confused with; this 5 megapixel device is the "Filippa". Specs are comparable with the C510 'Kate', except that the Filippa also has a Xenon flash.
'Frances'
Finally there is a rumour about a third device, named 'Frances'. This device has a larger display, 2.4 inch in comparison with the 2.2 of the C510 and Filippa. Besides a 5 megapixel camera the 'Frances' has A-GPS to place a geotag on pictures. Other possible spec are image stabilisator to prevent the failure of pictures because of movements.
