OnePlus has several phone announcements planned for early 2025. In addition to the OnePlus 13, the cheaper 13R is also expected, possibly at the same time. Information about this 13R is now on the street.
The OnePlus 13R appears to be based on the Ace 5 already announced in China, which is a 6.78-inch smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and triple camera with at least a 50MP sensor.

Inside, the 13R appears to feature 6000mAh large battery with 80W fast charging and runs under OxygenOS 15 which is logically based on Android 15. OnePlus has also done some work on the size, for example, the new device should be slightly shorter and thinner than the OnePlus 12R.
In summary, the specifications of the OnePlus 13R are as follows;
- Display: 6.78 inches, 120Hz, 1264 × 2780px resolution
- Performance: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with 12GB of RAM
- Storage: 256GB + 2 more configurations
- Camera: 50MP + 50MP + 8MP
- Battery: 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging
The source further reports that OnePlus has placed an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner in the screen. So there is no longer an optical scanner here that lights up your entire room in the dark when you want to quickly unlock your phone.
