Samsung already releases 60W charger for Galaxy S26 Ultra
The upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra seems to bring a welcome improvement: faster charging. To make this possible, Samsung is already marketing the necessary charger. Convenient, although no Galaxy phone can be charged with 60W at the moment.
The charger in question is the Samsung 60W Power Adapter. This charger comes without a cable and bears type number EP-T6010NBEGWW. It houses a single USB C connector that can deliver up to 60 watts of power. It can do so via Super Fast Charging 2.0 protocol, USB Power Delivery 3.1 or Programable Power Supply.

Samsung emphasizes low standby consumption on its product page. Samsung claims a standby consumption of less than 5 milliwatts when you are not charging. Looking at its predecessor, the 45W Power Adapter that too had such low standby consumption. So it is not unique.
Specifically for the S26 Ultra?
In addition to the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra, which is rumored to charge quickly with a higher 60W, the 60W Power Adapter also charges Galaxy tablets and books with it. The adapter offers protection against overheating, short circuit and against excessive current.
Samsung has already listed the 60W Power Adapter on its website, offering it in black for a cost of €53. Previously, Samsung released a charger with three USB outputs with a total of 65W of power; the 65W Power Adapter Trio.
