Flagship-worthy camera system

We find the naming of the Redmi Note 12 Pro a bit confusing. After all, you might think you're dealing with an expensive high-end flagship. It is anything but that. Just look at the price. We're talking about a mid-range device with a matching price but with a flagship-worthy camera system. That system is carried by a 50MP primary camera with an IMX766 sensor and optical image stabilization. We usually see the latter only on expensive flagships. It provides sharper images, especially in dark conditions—something the Redmi Note 12 Pro has also been praised for in tests.

Processor with decent performance

The other cameras on the back are an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a wide 119° lens, ideal for landscapes and cityscapes, and a 2MP macro camera for extreme close-ups, but it adds little.
