Moreover, the models have improved significantly compared to years ago.

Manufacturers have to pull out all the stops to stand out in this category. A low price is no longer enough. Due to the rise of Chinese manufacturers, mid-range smartphones these days must be made from premium materials. And thanks to the falling cost of components, they usually come equipped with multiple cameras and high-capacity batteries.
