All Samsung phones
Samsung offers a wide range of products, but they’re actually organized in a very straightforward way. To make the right choice, you just need to know what the letters stand for.
Which Samsung phone is right for me?
Samsung primarily divides its smartphones into three series: the premium S series, the innovative Z series, and the popular A series.
Galaxy S Series: The Best of the Best
Do you want the fastest performance, the very best cameras, and the latest features? Then the Galaxy S series is for you. These are Samsung’s flagship models.
- Who it’s for: Demanding users, photography enthusiasts, and business users
- Features: High-refresh-rate Super AMOLED displays, professional camera lenses (including powerful zoom), and the most powerful performance
- Models: These include the Galaxy S26 series, which was expanded in September with the S26 FE; the previous-generation S25 also remains a strong choice

Galaxy A Series: The best value for the money
Not everyone needs the specs of a race car. The Galaxy A series (where the A originally stood for Alpha) is Samsung’s best-selling series. These phones offer premium features at a mid-range price.
- Who it’s for: The average user looking for a reliable phone for messaging, social media, and streaming
- Features: Often equipped with very large, long-lasting batteries, waterproof casings, and excellent screens
- Difference: The higher the number after the A, the more advanced the device (the A56 is more powerful than the A16)
Galaxy Z Series: The future is foldable
Since 2019, Samsung has been the market leader in foldables. These phones have flexible screens that you can fold. However, the competition is catching up fast, something Samsung is trying to fend off with ultra-thin foldables. The latest generation consists of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 (with the Fold 8 Ultra as the top model) and the Z Flip 8.
- Galaxy Z Flip: A compact device that folds shut like a classic “flip phone.” Ideal for your pants pocket
- Galaxy Z Fold: A slim phone that unfolds into a compact tablet. Perfect for multitasking and watching videos

Galaxy Xcover: Rugged and indestructible
Do you work in construction or spend a lot of time outdoors? The Xcover series is specially designed for extreme conditions. These devices are drop-resistant, waterproof, and often feature a removable battery.

Why Choose Samsung?
In addition to the wide selection, there are two specific reasons why Samsung stands out from other Android manufacturers: Galaxy AI and its update policy.
Galaxy AI: Smarter Than Ever
The latest generation of Samsung phones is packed with artificial intelligence. With Galaxy AI, you can translate phone calls in real time, summarize notes, and edit photos by simply moving or removing objects. The “Circle to Search” feature, which lets you circle something on your screen to instantly search for it on Google, is also included as standard on most models.

Updates and Durability
A phone should last a long time. Samsung offers seven years of Android and security updates on its high-end devices (the S series, the S FE, and the Z series); for this year’s models, that means support through 2033. The mid-range A3x and A5x models get six years, through early 2032. For entry-level models, it varies by device; the number of years a specific device will receive updates is listed on the device page.
Easily switch with Smart Switch
Do you currently have a phone from another brand? With the free Samsung Smart Switch app, you can wirelessly transfer all your photos, contacts, messages, and settings to your new Galaxy. This works from both iPhones and other Android devices.
