Many megapixels for little

Of course, Xiaomi can't be behind in releasing its own 108MP phone. At the time of writing, this camera sensor contains the most pixels. But even Xiaomi knows by now that the number of megapixels does not immediately say anything about photo quality. It takes more. A bright lens, for example. That's why the Redmi Note 11S features a bright f/1.9 lens to see even in the dark without a flash. The Samsung HM2 sensor is a generous 1/1.52" in size and therefore captures extra light. By applying pixel binning, nine pixels are merged into one so that details come out even better. Of the other cameras present, the 8MP ultra-wide angle is the most noteworthy. Thanks to the 118° wide viewing angle, this allows you to get extra much in the picture.

Spacious 90Hz DotDisplay

Up front, Xiaomi applies a spacious 6.43-inch screen. By using AMOLED, colors come across much more intensely. And the high 1000 nits makes reading outdoors extra easy. The screen refreshes images 90 times per second making animations and transitions look extra smooth. At the top, right in the middle is a small round for the 16MP selfie camera. Inside the Redmi Note 11S we find a 5000mAh large battery with support for 33W fast charging. Plug the charger into a wall outlet and your device will be recharged in no time. Wireless charging is something that unfortunately cannot be done.

Something we also only see when you open it up is the MediaTek Helio G96 processor. This chipset makes sure everything runs smoothly, and that it is responsive. You get at least 6GB and up to 8GB of RAM memory, which is basically enough for demanding users. Storage memory is available up to 128GB and expandable up to 1TB by inserting a memory card. A pity is that the Redmi Note 11S does not support 5G. The maximum Internet speed is achieved on a 4G network. Further noteworthy is the presence of stereo speakers. But you can also plug in wired earphones thanks to the 3.5mm port.
