Is it a smartphone? Is it a tablet? We ask ourselves every time we see a device with a 5-inch screen. After Dell and Samsung comes with such a device.
The Lenovo LePad S2005 has a 5-inch screen and a 1.2 GHz processor. The resolution of the screen is disappointing: 800 x 480 pixels. That this is a tablet according to Lenovo, is evident by the name. At the same time the brand als presented a phone, called LePhone S2. Unlike Samsung, a 5-inch device is not seen as a smartphone by Lenovo, apparently.

Like the LePhone S2, the LePad S2005 runs on the smartphone version of Android, Gingerbread. Lenovo is a Chinese brand, which has so far brought its smartphones and tablets to the marke in China. That seems to be the fate of these newsphiens as well. We suppose we’ll miss this phone and this tablet-phone.
