Who could have predicted that? Samsung's extra-thin Galaxy phone will have an appropriately thin battery. Its capacity has been revealed and we are disappointed to say the least. The charging speed has also been revealed and it is likewise unimpressive.
Of course, we understand that you only have so much room in an approximately 6-millimeter thin phone. Still, we are somewhat disappointed with the battery capacity of the S25 Edge. Sources report a paltry battery capacity of 3900 mAh in size.

And charging it can be done at a maximum of 25W. That's just as "slow" as with the Galaxy S25 but because the battery of the S25 Edge is smaller, charging will still complete faster. That, in turn, is an added benefit.
Disappointment reigns
Why are we disappointed? Battery developments are going pretty fast right now. We already see thin phones passing by with 7000 mAh of capacity. The Realme Neo 7, for example. It is 8.5 millimeters thicker than the expected 6 mm of Samsung's, but it has a battery almost twice as big.

Recall here that the Neo 7's predecessor had a 5500 mAh battery in a thicker case. And OnePlus is also working with CATL to make thinner batteries with more capacity. The Glacier Battery manages to put 6100 mAh into a previously 5000 mAh battery.
Battery capacity is one thing, battery life is another. It's quite possible that the battery life will just come out at one day, just as it did with the S25 series. So feel free to wait until Samsung makes definitive statements on this before jumping to conclusions.
