It was only about one thing during the presentation of the S25 series; Artificial Intelligence. A touch of Gemini here, touch of Bixby there, some Galaxy AI above and a bit of Now Bar below. Nice, sure, but because of that some features were not named. Something they were allowed to do. And that's why we do it.

We get that with a long presentation, it's hard to keep your attention. It's something the late Steve Jobs had elevated to an art, but Samsung has yet to master. We list five things they should have mentioned.
1. Satellite communications
Hidden deep in a Qualcomm press release, it says that the S25 series is the first with support for Snapdragon Satellite which is baked into Android by default. This allows you to send and receive messages via satellite. Apple has set up a separate service for this called Emergency SOS via satellite. Samsung has yet to introduce its own service, but the S25 already supports it.
2. Wi-Fi 7 on S25 and S25+
We only saw the new Wi-Fi 7 feature on the Ultra model last year. But since now all models in the S25 series are equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, the S25 and S25+ also have the faster Wi-Fi 7.
3. Android Seamless Updates
The S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra are the first in the Galaxy S series to support A/B (seamless) system updates. This means that system updates are performed in the background, and you can continue to use your phone. Afterwards, however, you still have to reboot your phone.
4. Better speakers for S25 Ultra
We didn't hear it during the presentation, but the sound from the S25 Ultra sounds better. So report several sources who have already used the device. We don't yet know exactly what Samsung has done to improve the sound quality but at least your ears will be able to appreciate it.

5. No Air Actions for S25 Ultra
The rumors turned out to be true; the S Pen in the S25 Ultra no longer features Bluetooth. This makes the pen lighter, and less complex, but it loses some functionality as a result. You can no longer use the pen as a remote control by pressing the button and waving it. Samsung called this Air Actions, and they are missing from the S25 Ultra.
The Air Command features are just present on the S25 Ultra, though. These are additional options that you can access when you hold the pen close to the screen. At least it's something but it will be a miss for loyal S Ultra and Note fans.
