New images of the not yet officially announced Sony Ericsson phone on Newmobile. As it seems it concerns the Sony Ericsson U8 also known as the 'Kanna'.
It concerns, as shown in the picture, a QWERTY-slider with Symbian presumably installed. We would have preferred Android, but something new from the Swede-Japanese is good enough.
The image was offered to GSMArena with the announcement that the camera is made for recording HD video (720p). How much megapixel the camera will have is not completely clear yet. We assume an 8 megapixel versiont. As can be aspected the Kanna has 3.2 inch wide nHD resolution touchscreen with WiFi and a 3.5 mm audio jack connection.
MWC
The Kanna/U8 will presumably be announced simultaneously with the Kurara during the MWC. This fair will be held from 15 till 18 february 2010 in Barcelona, Spain. We will be there of course, to keep you updated on the latest news and newest phones.
