This many phones Honor sold in 2025, will you have one?
With all the iPhones and Samsung Galaxy phones, it would be easy to forget that there are other smartphone brands out there. One of them is Honor, a spin-off of China's Huawei. They sold a record number of smartphones in 2025 and now we are curious to know if you have one in your pocket.
Honor was aiming for 70 million sales by 2025 and that goal was more than met with 71 million units. It is a 50% increase over the previous year. Honor scored especially well with high-end smartphones; as many as 10 million buyers opted for a high-end luxury model. Think of models like the Magic7 Pro or the Magic V5.
.Honor's largest market is home country China but the growth of foreign markets increased by 50%. For example, market share in South America, the Middle East and Africa has already broken double digits. In Europe, Honor captured a 4% market share with 42% year-on-year growth, according to figures from Counterpoint.
Why Europeans are switching to premium Honor phones
In Europe, it is mainly the premium models that are eagerly buying. For next year, Honor may be able to continue its growth thanks to models such as the Honor Magic8 Pro. Should the company also release new foldables here, including a successor to the impressive Magic V5, that could only further increase its market share.

Honor, unlike competitors Samsung and Apple, is less cautious in adopting new technologies. For example, many Honor phones today feature a Silicon-Carbon battery with a much higher capacity, sometimes exceeding 7000 mAh. This allows you to easily get through two days without a charger, even with heavy use. Also, the models are relatively competitively priced.
