Known insiders confirm Samsung Galaxy S26 series launch date
Although Samsung has not yet sent out the invitations, there is no longer any doubt. Two heavyweights of the rumor world have independently confirmed the date when the S26 series will become official.
And so we dare you. On February 25, 2026, Samsung will announce the S26 Series. @Jukanlosreve mentioned that date earlier, and now heavyweights Ice Universe and Evan Blass are also joining in.

That Samsung would announce the Galaxy S26 Series a little later in the year comes as no surprise. Back in October of 2025, you could read the first rumors about it here. Back then they still assumed "months of delay," which has since been reduced to just one month. Worth the wait, especially considering the new design we expect.
Unpacked Galaxy S26: location and details
We now see on X a post by Evan Blass and Ice Universe popping up confirming the Feb. 25 date. Samsung often presents new phones during an Unpacked event. Here, expect to see the S26, S26+ and the S26 Ultra. The event will take place in San Francisco, the backyard of arch-rival Apple. This strategy is not new; the S25, S23 and S20 were also announced there.

In addition to a launch date, both men also mention another welcome piece of news; the price of the S26 series will remain unchanged. That's good news, because despite rising memory prices, Samsung is not passing this on. So you get a more powerful phone for the same money as last year.
