Earlier than expected, Samsung has given the exact date when it will announce the Galaxy S25 series. The next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. Central European Time.
Speculation has come to an end this morning. Samsung sent out invitations to a Galaxy Unpacked event. During this event, the Galaxy S25, S25+ and the S25 Ultra will be announced. And perhaps the S25 Slim as well.
The event starts at 18:00 UTC, which is 19:00 CET, or Central European Time. Samsung is broadcasting a livestream of the unveiling, which can be followed on its own website.
Image had already been leaked
The above image had already been leaked by Evan Blass, so in retrospect it turns out to be completely accurate. A cat-and-mouse game takes place every year between Samsung on the one hand, which tries to keep everything studiously quiet, and leakers on the other who try to reveal everything in advance. Samsung, contrary to what some think, is not served by this.
In the invitation, Samsung hints at Galaxy AI capabilities combined with an "advanced camera equipped with the next-generation ProVisual Engine." Also present is a "powerful custom-built processor for Galaxy." There also seems to be a big role for Bixby, as shown in the video above.
