New Nothing uses custom chipset

Onleaks has published images and specifications of the Nothing Phone (2a). The launch of Nothing's new mid-range device is scheduled for March 5 but is already on display.

You don't have to squint your eyes to see a Nothing phone in this image. The Phone 2a shares features of the Nothing Phone 2 including the luminous LED lighting. We further see a camera module consisting of two horizontally placed cameras.

MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro

Meanwhile, Nothing announced on its website which processor will be used inside the Phone 2a. The processor in question is a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro. MediaTek developed it at Nothing's request, and it cannot be found on the MediaTek website (yet). Also notable is the 12GB of RAM—more than usual for a mid-range phone.
