Leaked dummy photos of Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro show AirPods-like design
A render only tells the manufacturer's story, but a photo tells the real story. That's why we welcome these hands-on photos of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro.
Sketches of the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro first appeared in October 2025, with marketing renders available since early February 2026. These newly released, hands-on photos provide more details.
Samsung opts for flat stems
Both earbuds have a plastic finish and, despite the updated design, look similar to the Apple AirPods and AirPods Pro. Even the distinctive flat stems do not completely break that resemblance.
The photos reveal details missed in previous renders. Specifically, the transparent lid on the case appears to be recessed, which can be seen in the photo on the far right. This aesthetic addition gives the case a more premium look.

Differences between Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro
While the Galaxy Buds 4 feature an open-ear design, the Buds 4 Pro have silicone in-ear tips for passive isolation. Although both models reportedly offer active noise cancellation (ANC), the Pro variant provides better isolation.
These photos confirm that the case lacks a speaker. This is a drawback for users who often forget where they put their charging case.
The Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro are expected to launch on Feb. 25 at Samsung's Unpacked event, alongside the Galaxy S26 Series.
