Nokia CTO mentions new MeeGo phone

Now Nokia is joining Microsoft with Windows Phone 7, slimming down its Symbian effort and marking MeeGo as "experimental" it is somewhat unclear what status future devices have. For example a MeeGo phone. Nokia CTO Rich Green explains.

During a presentation at MWC last month he briefly mentioned a still unknown device running MeeGo; the Nokia N950. This reminds us of the N900; also an experimental device running Maemo. But since we don't know any MeeGo devices other than the cancelled N9 this is somewhat interesting.

Don't bother watching the whole 16 minutes. Most action is found during the first 40 seconds. Green says that the N950 has an "interesting User Interface" and talks about "Elegant Hardware". Seeing is believing if you ask us. He also shatters our dream for more than one MeeGo device. This will be the one and the only one this year.
