Exclusive: Motorola razr 70 plus renders show green design and IP48 rating
We obtained the official press renders of the Motorola razr 70 Plus ahead of schedule. In early March, we shared the first news about this foldable, including the colors it would be released in. Now, we are exclusively bringing you the accompanying images.
This is the Motorola razr 70+ in Mountain View. This is a dark green color with a back featuring a woven textile texture. Motorola, or rather parent company Lenovo, often applies different textures with Pantone colors.

Motorola is expected to announce the razr 70 family on April 29, which will consist of the razr 70, razr 70 ultra and this razr 70 plus. We previously heard this expected release date from our trusted insider with knowledge of the telecom market.

By European standards, the Motorola razr 70+ is a somewhat striking phone, as no razr+ has been released here before. Those models were usually only released in the US. Comparing the Plus model to the entry-level razr 70, we see a full-screen front with two cameras on the outside and one selfie camera inside.
On the right side are two separate volume buttons with a power button underneath. The left side is reserved for the SIM card slot. At the bottom, we find a USB-C port with a dual speaker opening. Whether this also provides stereo sound remains to be seen.
The accompanying energy label has also leaked, revealing more about the specifications of the razr 70+. For example, it has an IP48 rating, protecting the housing against splashing water. This matches the Flip 7 from Samsung, which also features an IP48 housing.
The battery can be charged 1,200 times before it begins to degrade, and a full battery provides 48 hours and 53 minutes of usage. However, this is under ideal test conditions; we do not expect to achieve this duration in practice. The final energy label is a very respectable A.
In addition to the green Mountain View version shown here, we also expect a purple version called African Violet. The future razr 70 will also be released in that same color. Other differences between the razr 70 and razr 70+ also remain unknown. The specifications for both are not yet fully known. But if the April 29 launch date is correct, we won't have to wait long.
