Silicon-Carbon batteries
Expect to see more smartphones with batteries larger than the now-common 5000 mAh soon. The advance of Silicon-Carbon (Si-C) will enable phones of 6000, 7000 and now even 8000 mAh phones without being hugely thick. Something that was the case with Lithium-Ion.
In addition to a large battery, the Honor Power has a dual 50+5MP camera, a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, 8 to 12GB of RAM and 256 or 512GB of storage. The device runs MagicOS 9 which is based on Android 15 and thus also comes with Google services. All the good news notwithstanding; this powerhouse will only be released in China for now.
