Exclusive: First images of Motorola Moto G86 show unusual back cover
The arrival of the device was mentioned before, but now we can show you the very first images of the new Motorola Moto G86. This 5G phone features a special back that looks like a mix of felt and textile.
Lenovo has been fitting the latest Motorola phones with different textures. We have already seen wood, faux leather and denim. For the Moto G86, Lenovo has come up with something different; textile. Whether it's real fabric is doubtful; that wouldn't look very fresh after a while.
Purple version of the G86 has a back what looks like textile
But we like to be surprised. The Motorola Moto G86 5G is expected to launch in a purple color, as evidenced by the pictures we managed to track down. In addition to the purple version, a dark blue version will also hit the market. The latter has a back made of faux leather.
Lenovo uses flat sides and also a flat screen. In doing so, Lenovo breaks with the Moto G85 5G from 2024 that had rounded sides and curved screen edges. Other specifications include a triple camera with a 50MP main camera that uses a Sony Lytia sensor with OIS. On top of the device we read "Dolby Atmos."
We do not yet know exactly when Lenovo will announce the Motorola Moto G86 5G. It may do so along with the Moto G56, the razr 60 and the razr 60 ultra. These devices have also been popping up frequently lately which could indicate a further launch. Possibly, the device will come with 8GB of RAM memory and 256GB of storage and there will also be a gold and red variant in addition to the purple and blue versions.
