OnePlus shows customizable button on OnePlus 13T
OnePlus has revealed the button that should succeed the Alert Slider. The customizable button should debut on the OnePlus 13T and may be called "Quick Key."
OnePlus shared the image below via Chinese microblog platform Weibo. We see part of a phone and a remarkably small button. Translating the accompanying text from Chinese, it appears we are looking at the as-yet-unannounced OnePlus 13T with its new customizable button.
OnePlus previously announced that it was trading in the Alert Slider for a more customizable button. So now we know that the 13T is the first model on which OnePlus applies this button. This Quick Button still allows the user to set the device to silent/vibrate and sound, but in addition it can do more. What exactly remains a secret for now.
The button is located on the left side. The button that should succeed the Quick Button, the Alert Slider, we found alternately on the left and right sides.
Expected soon
OnePlus may announce the 13T soon. It should be a compact phone with a flat 6.3-inch screen, powerful performance and at least a 6000 mAh battery. The device will possibly be a rebrand of the Oppo Find X8s expected in China. That will be announced on April 10 along with the Find X8 Ultra.
