Oppo launches waterproof and rugged A5 Pro 5G phone
Oppo has just launched the A5 Pro. This 5G device features an extra waterproof IP69 rating with a rugged body that can withstand shocks. It will also last a long time thanks to its 5800 mAh large battery.
Phones with larger than 5,000 mAh batteries are rolling out more and more these days. So today we have the Oppo A5 Pro 5G in the spotlight. Despite a thickness of 7.6 millimeters and a weight of 195 grams, a 5800 mAh large battery is hidden inside. That's enough to make 36 hours of continuous calls. Just keep that up!

Charging is done with up to 45W and Oppo promises that the A5 Pro will still have 80% of its battery capacity after four years. The device also features a 6.67-inch LCD screen with HD resolution. This means that colors can come across a bit bland and text a bit out of focus.
Robust tested
The casing can withstand some violence. Oppo had the A5 Pro 5G certified as IP69 as well as IP68 and IP66. This makes it completely waterproof and highly resistant to dust. The MIL-STD-810H test also passed the device making it resistant to shock and drop damage as well. In this, the Gorilla Glass 7i front end will also have had its share.

The Oppo A5 Pro comes out in Olive Green and Brown/Black with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The recommended retail price is €279. Expect the device to hit stores starting Friday, April 11. Oppo promises 3 years of OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates.
