In most cases, phones are no longer shipped with a charger. The idea behind this is that you probably already have one at home. But if you want to charge your phone as fast as possible, then you need a matching fast charger. Samsung is now offering a new one at a remarkable price.
The Samsung 50W PD Duo Power Adapter features 2 USB-C outputs with one port providing 50W of power and the other 25W. Previously, Samsung's fastest phone charger did not exceed 45W on a single USB output.
It should be noted that the EP-T5020 halves the power output of the 50W port when you connect a second device. Both ports will then deliver 25W. For many Samsung phones, however, that won't be a problem; in fact, that's already the highest charging power possible for many.
Low Standby
According to the casing, the fast charger supports USD Power Delivery and consumes little power when not in use.
Solid starting price
The Samsung 50W Duo Power Adapter comes in black and white and shippes with a single 5A USB-C cable. The suggested suggested retail price is pretty hefty. Samsung is asking €69.90 for it.
If that's too much for your liking, you can always go for the Samsung 45W charger with a single USB output. That one is more than twice as cheap. Or you could look at USB chargers from another brand.
