Xperia duo, a dual-core Android phone from the Japanese / Swedish manufacturer Sony Ericsson has leaked on a Chinese website. The handset should help the brand compete with other super smartphone makers like HTC and Samsung.
Sony Ericsson Xperia duo goes one step further where others stopped. The device has a touchscreen of 4.5 inches and is equipped with a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor from ST Ericsson. That should guarantee a rapid phone running on Android with the familiar skin of Sony Ericsson. It will be the first dual-core device from Sony Ericsson. The current flagship of the brand is the Xperia arc, which a single core processor.
According to rumors, this new device comes to the market in September, sporting a 12 megapixel camera. We'll have to wait until after the summer to see where the phone will be sold.
