Major leak reveals specs and features Google Pixel 10

Specsheet shows difference between Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro

A new leak from @evleaks gives us more information about Google's upcoming Pixel 10. What specifications the new device has, what the main features are and the total range of colors.

As a phone manufacturer, Google has never been good at keeping secrets to itself for long. This year is no different and for months now our rumor section has been talking about nothing but the upcoming Pixel 10. Apparently there was still something left to leak because @evleaks brings us new material again.

We finally get a good look at the Pixel 10 and the Pixel 10 Pro thanks to the image above. Both feature a triple camera system together for the first time. The telephoto camera was something you previously saw only on a Pro model. Google thinks with significantly better camera specs it will still convince people to go for a Pro model.

Google's marketing department is making a splash by calling the camera system of the Pixel 10 Pro "Pro triple," while the regular Pixel 10 is called "Advanced triple."

Differences Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro

The Pixel 10 gets brighter colors where those on the Pro are a bit more dull. They are called "Obsidian," "Frost," "Indigo" and "Limoncello" respectively for the Pixel 10 and "Obsidian," "Porcelain," "Moonstone" and "Jade" for the 10 Pro. Furthermore, the edges of the Pixel 10 are matte while those on the Pro are glossy.

The Pixel 10 comes with 12GB of RAM memory while that has been scaled up to 16GB in the Pixel 10 Pro. It is also possible that the screen resolution is slightly higher with the Pro given the "Super Actua" designation. Both devices support the new Pixelsnap wireless charging which are Qi2 certified. That seems to indicate that no separate case is needed to fit a magnetic charger.

Pixel 10 availability

Google may only release the Pixel 10 series in an eSIM version in the US. Perhaps the rest of the world will get the version that fits a physical SIM card. Apple, by the way, is doing the same with its recent iPhones. Expect to purchase the Pixel 10 series shortly after the announcement on Aug. 20. Availability will presumably be a week later, on Aug. 28.

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold may have to wait a bit longer. Rumor has it that it won't be available until early October. Why this is, we'd love to hear at the Made By Google event on Aug. 20.
