The new Android Market was announced back in July, and nowis finally rolled out to all devices with a recent version of Android. The changes in the new version are major. The interface is completely revamped.
The new version of the Market orders the different windows side by side, making them scrollable with a simple swipe. Manually, the new Market could already installed, but now the new version come sto you automatically. We believe that when designing it, Google kept an eye on Windows Phone, as the similarities between the new version of the Android Market and an average Windows Phone app is striking. That does not mean that the update is no improvement, on the contrary.
The Market is well organized, looks better, and chances are you'll quickly encounter an unknown app, you did not know it existed yet. In some countries, the new version of the Market features the ability to download music and books through Google services.
