Apple AirPods Pro 3 official with 2x better noise cancellation
Apple announced new AirPods during its annual keynote, alongside new iPhones and watches. The AirPods Pro 3 offer up to two times better active noise cancellation (ANC) and can now translate live for you, but with a caveat.
Although the AirPods Pro 3 closely resembles its predecessor, Apple has completely redesigned it. Better airflow should create a richer sound. Active Noise Cancellation also works twice as well as on the AirPods Pro 2, making it the best in its class, according to Apple.

The charging case also gets an upgrade and is now IP57 waterproof. By the way, this also applies to the earbuds themselves. Charging is as always with MagSafe or via a USB cable that is not included as standard. New is the ability to translate live from other people.
Limited Live Translation
The AirPods Pro 3 then mute the sound of the speaker and let the translation ring in your ear. This feature does require a paired Apple Intelligence-compatible iPhone running iOS 26 to enable it, as translation takes place on the iPhone. Moreover, Live Translation only works with the languages English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish for now. To make matters worse; the feature does not work in the EU.

Another new feature is the ability to recognize heart rate during workouts. This information then appears in the Apple Health app that you can view on your iPhone. Furthermore, battery life has been improved from 6 to 8 hours with ANC enabled and even up to 10 hours with Hearing Aid mode (Hearing Aid) enabled.
