Motorola Moto G36 coming with 7000mAh large battery

We can get ready for a new Motorola phone with a huge 7000 mAh battery. And also other specifications of this Moto G36 are now on the street, which already gives us a good idea of this budget device.

Our information on the Motorola Moto G36 comes from TENAA. This inspects products before they are allowed into the Chinese market. They were kind enough to provide photos of the device and specifications, and that even before the official announcement.

As a result, we know that the Moto G36 features a 6.72-inch screen up front, three cameras at the back and a chunky 7000 mAh battery inside. In addition, TENAA reports that the device will come to market with quite a few memory options: 4, 8, 12 and 16 GB and with 64, 128, 256 and even 512 GB of storage. It is not obvious that every option will be available here as it is on a budget model.

Moto G36: 40% larger battery

Indeed, so was the Moto G35 and it only came out here with 4/128GB. It also featured a 5000mAh battery, 40% smaller than in the upcoming G36; a good example of how developments are not standing still. Charging of the new Moto G will go with presumably 33W.

Despite that increased battery capacity, the Motorola G36 measures just 8.7 millimeters thick. While that's thicker than the 7.79 millimeters thick G35, it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. The weight also goes up slightly; from 192 to 210 grams.

Other specifications of the Moto G36 read as follows;

Sizes166.3 x 76.5 x 8.7 mm
Display6.72" Full HD+ TFT
Cameras50 (2x zoom) + 8 MP (ultra-wide-angle)
Selfie camera32 MP

We do not yet know when Lenovo will officially announce the Motorola Moto G36. Its predecessor was announced in late August of 2024 which, at the time of writing, is over a year ago. So an announcement could come any day now.
