First image of new design Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 leaked
An icon surfaced deep in the code of One UI 8.5 is our first evidence that Samsung is working on a revamped Galaxy Buds 4. The earbuds have yet to be released, but it already appears that Samsung is opting for a new design.
Now an icon only says so much, but we can definitely see a difference between the current Buds 3 and the future Buds 4. It may be the style of the icon but the earbuds seem to be a stretch, especially from the trunk.

Samsung introduced that strain from the Galaxy Buds 3, which made the earbuds look very similar to Apple's AirPods. This did not escape many people and Samsung, especially the Samsung designers, received a lot of criticism for this copycat action and lack of originality.
Icons found in One UI 8.5
That doesn't change from the Galaxy Buds 4 because it too features a trunk, and with its curves, it may look even more like their Apple counterparts. At least that's evident from the icon shown that Android Authority found in the code of One UI 8.5.
Funny thing is that both icons show silicone in-ear tips while the Buds 3 does not have that at all. So are we secretly not looking at the Buds 4 Pro because the Buds 3 Pro does have those in-ear tips? Until Samsung has officially announced the earbuds, we don't know, but hopefully we'll get an answer to that soon.
