Thin Motorola edge 70 expected Nov. 5, still gets large battery
Rumors suggest that Lenovo will announce the thin Motorola edge 70 on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Fun fact: it is the anniversary of Android; the operating system that many smartphones run on. Despite the thin body, Lenovo still managed to get a large battery in the edge 70.
Where the iPhone Air has a paltry 3149 mAh battery, the Galaxy S25 Edge a scant 3900 mAh, the upcoming Motorola edge 70 boasts a full-fledged 4800 mAh battery. Significantly more than the competition. In fact, Lenovo does dare to apply a modern Silicon carbon battery.

The Motorola edge 70 features 68W TurboPower fast charging, according to Motorola's invitation page. 15 minutes on the charger should get you back on track for 50 hours with this. The expected retail price is around €700; considerably cheaper than what the thin competitors from Samsung and Apple came out for at the time.
How thin exactly
is still unknown.
Exactly how thin Lenovo will make the Motorola edge 70 we do not yet know, but we do know some specifications. For example, the device gets a 50MP camera with OIS and an ultra-wide angle with 120° wide viewing angle. We still see a third lens but information about it is missing.
Presumably Lenovo is once again shrouding the edge 70 in Pantone colors including a green and gray variant. With this you get 12GB of RAM memory and 512GB of storage. Whether this is really the case will be revealed Nov. 5 when the official launch takes place.
