Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra design revealed; changed camera layout, same cameras
AndroidHeadlines has done a hat trick. After being the first to publish CAD renders of the S26 Pro and S26 Edge, today they bring us the first drawings of the S26 Ultra. Samsung seems to have changed something about the design, but not much.
We concur with the conclusion given by AndroidHeadlines in its article; Samsung has not reinvented the wheel when it comes to the S26 Ultra. There is no discernible difference on the front, and the sides remain virtually intact as well.

However, the corners will be a bit more rounded and there is a change at the back. Three of the cameras are placed elevated on the back though the location remains the same. What also remains the same is the cameras used. According to the source, the camera setup of the Galaxy S26 Ultra consists of;
- 200MP main camera with f/1.4 lens
- 50MP ultra-wide-angle
- 50MP periscope with 5x zoom
- 10MP telephoto with 3x zoom
Now one sensor is not the other, but we found the same resolutions on the S25 Ultra last year. Indeed, the telephoto camera even gets a physically smaller sensor. How Samsung plans to sell that to us once the model is out remains to be seen.
Same meager battery capacity
Samsung will have a tough time selling the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra with some other specs as well. For example, the battery capacity promises to be the same meager 5000 mAh in size, and Samsung may swap out the familiar Snapdragon processor for an Exynos variant developed in-house. However, that would be offset by Qi2.2 support with built-in magnets and faster charging.
