HMD Global has announced the Nokia T20. Its first-ever Android tablet gets a 10.4-inch 2K screen, an 8200mAh battery and 2 years of Android updates.
The Nokia T20 is best described as a multimedia tablet. The screen has a diameter of 10.4 inches with a sharp 2K display. There are stereo speakers and a long battery life seems guaranteed by the 8200mAh battery capacity. There's 15W fast charging but you'll need to buy that charger separately; the box contains "only" a 10W charger.
As with Nokia phones, the T20 promises lengthy software updates. The T20 is released with Android 11 and will get 2 years of Android updates and 3 years of monthly security updates. For a tablet with a suggested retail price of €249, this is very reasonable. There are versions announced with 32 and 64GB of storage memory but they are not sold everywhere. There are also WiFi and 4G versions announced.
Nokia T20 available
Expect the Nokia T20 from mid-October in stores. Besides the tablet, HMD Global also brings a robust flip cover for an amount of €39.99. In this case, you can protect the T20 and bring it save into the office. Thats even recommended because the T20 is part of the Android Enterprise Recommended (AER) and HMD Enable Pro program. This allows system administrators to more easily and securely manage the T20 remotely.
