Samsung Galaxy A37 leaks out: faster Exynos chip and Android 16 confirmed
The first concrete evidence of the Galaxy A37 has surfaced, and the specifications don't lie. Via a leaked benchmark, it seems that we can get ready for a more powerful device. The test results show a fast Exynos chip and Android 16.
The Galaxy A3x series is one of Samsung's best-selling phones. Models from this series, while very affordable, have a lot of features. The Samsung Galaxy A37 will soon feature an Exynos 1480 processor, according to a published benchmark.

Comparing that chipset to the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 from the Galaxy A36, the Exynos 1480 is especially more powerful during gaming. It is also clocked a bit faster which then comes in handy during regular use. Other facts the bench mark tells us are the presence of Android 16 and a RAM memory of 6 GB size.
The Exynos 1480 is not new; this in processor was announced in March of 2024 and already found its way into the Galaxy A55.
Other A37 specifications
All in all, the Galaxy A37 does not score significantly faster than the A36 but it does promise to be a nice upgrade. Of course, Samsung can do more than just apply a newer chipset. For example, we still always don't know what cameras the A37 will get, what AI features will be present and whether the device will finally have wireless charging.
We'll presumably get answers to that by the end of Q1 in 2026. Samsung almost always announced previous Galaxy A3x editions in March. So you'll have to be patient for a while.
