POCO releases F8 Pro and F8 Ultra phones with Bose audio system
POCO has announced two new flagship models in its new F8 Series. Both are high-end flagships and feature Bose sound, with the F8 Ultra even featuring a built-in subwoofer.
Like its predecessor, the POCO F8 Pro is a high-end flagship but this time with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and an even brighter 3500 nits display. On the back of the F8 Pro this time you will find a separate telephoto in addition to a main and ultra-wide-angle camera.
POCO puts a slightly larger 6210 mAh battery with 100W fast charging in the device. However, wireless charging is still missing from this flagship. Sound is handled by Bose, which has two symmetrical speakers built in. For even more audio awesomeness, you'll have to swerve to the POCO F8 Ultra.

Thus, the F8 Ultra features a rear subwoofer in addition to dual Bose speakers. This 2.1-channel audio system delivers richer sound with deeper bass. What also draws extra attention is the Denim Blue design that looks like your jeans. They are not real denim, but they look and feel like the real thing.
The F8 Ultra differs from the Pro thanks to its slightly larger 6.9-inch screen, triple 50MP camera, larger 6500 mAh battery with wireless charging. The Ultra also features the more powerful and latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. There is an option with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Early-bird pricing
Both phones run Xiaomi's latest HyperOS 3 operating system, are IP68 water resistant and are relatively inexpensive. For the Pro you'll lay down €519.99, for the Ultra "only" €699.99. Note; these are temporary early-bird prices, though. After Dec. 10, prices go up to €649.99 and €829.99, respectively.
