Official renders show Samsung Galaxy A25 5G

Android Headlines has published renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A25. This 5G phone may be announced sometime in the first half of 2024 and shows strong similarities to the Galaxy A24.

Proof that we are looking at the Galaxy A25 and not the A24 is evident from the color shown below. We haven't seen the Galaxy A24 in that color before. Besides both sharing the same appearance, the specifications also show remarkable similarities.

Samsung's alleged Galaxy A25

This means there are three cameras on the back of the Galaxy A25; probably a 50MP main, 5MP ultra-wide angle, and a 2MP macro. The processor seems different: this time, it is not a MediaTek chip but an in-house baked Exynos 1280. What the end user will notice about that remains to be seen. Perhaps Samsung has added some software features to add some freshness.

A25 or still A24 5G?

Samsung didn't even bother with creating a new wallpaper. This makes us suspect we are looking at the A24 5G instead. This phone was expected for a long time but was never announced. For this, Samsung just needed to add 5G support, something that the Exynos 1280 has.

The source thinks that Samsung will announce the Galaxy A25 sometime in the first half of 2024 in a total of four colors; white/blue, blue, yellow and black.
