The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has not been announced and is not available in stores yet. But someone has gotten their hands on the device anyway. They even have an S23 Ultra and put them in the same photo together. This allows us to compare them thoroughly.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will be an evolutionary update, not a major one. That was previously evident from renders and is now apparent from these photos. Besides a different color (the S24 Ultra is the silver one, the S23 Ultra the black one), only the cutout for the speaker differs.
Also, the S Pen seems to be a bit less curved at the bottom, and the S24 Ultra is missing a hole at the bottom, presumably for the extra microphone or ventilation. The hole seems to have moved to the top. But overall, there are no significant differences. This is evident when we look at the sides of both phones.
Still, the buttons appear slightly more refined and appear larger. Also, the paint job looks a bit more even than on the S23 Ultra, which looks grainy. Whether this is a result of using titanium, we do not yet know. We will undoubtedly hear more about that at the beginning of 2024 when Samsung officially announces the S24 Ultra. That will happen during a yet-to-be-announced Unpacked Event.
