The Oppo A9 2020 is an affordable phone with a large battery and a quadruple camera system including a high 48 megapixel shooter. What makes this phone from 2019 still modern in 2020 is something you can read here.
Chinese Oppo focuses with the A9 2020 on exactly two things: a large battery and a good camera. To fulfill that first promise, they installed a 5000 mAh large battery into the A9 2020. That is a capacity that easily lasts you two days. In fact, it is so big that you can charge other phones if necessary. Making friends on the road has never been easier. Just don't forget to bring the cable.
Then the camera. There's a 48 megapixel main camera on the back. It uses Quad Pixel technology which combines the light of 4 pixels into 1 superpixel. So in most cases you shoot photos 12 megapixels in size. You can capture pictures in the dark thanks to the extra light sensitivity. In total there are 4 different sensors on the back, there is also an 8 megapixel camera with a wide angle lens of 119 degrees and another pair of 2 megapixel cameras to recognize depth. This allows you to shoot artistic photos with out-of-focus backgrounds. At the front is a single 16 megapixel camera with artificial Beautify mode. For video, Oppo has equipped the A9 2020 with electronic image stabilization. This allows you to filter unintended movements from video, making everything smoother.
Yet the Oppo A9 2020 is more than just a large battery and a set of good cameras. It's also a phone with stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos, it's a Dual SIM phone with room for a memory card, it's a phone with immense 6.5 inch Dew Drop screen with thin screen edges and one that thanks to a Snapdragon 665 processor and 4 GB RAM never really feels slow. As with all their phones, Oppo uses its own Android-based ColorOS. You can just use your favorite Android apps but it all looks a little different. It is something you have to like because it sometimes looks a little bit much.
