HTC will present some new handsets at the MWC in Barcelona. We already saw some rendered images, which match a not yet presented smartphone that has been spotted in Taiwan.
A smartphonefan saw the Desire 2 in the hands of a traveller that was also waiting for the Taipei metro. He managed to take a couple of pictures. The trackpad of the HTC Desire apparently is removed. The Desire 2 only has the four standard button to control Android.
Like the current Desire, the Desire 2 probably has a 3.7 inch screen. It makes the screen half an inch smaller than that of the Desire HD. The Desire 2 thus is easier to take with you in your pocket. It remains unknown which processor powers the new Desire. On the MWC in Barcelona, starting February 14th, we expect to hear more.
