After years of speculation, it is finally true: Apple comes with an iPhone that is fit to work on CDMA networks. This mobile networking technique is particularly popular in the United States, as most European networks use GSM.

We saw images of this adapted antenna before, which were said to belong to iPhone 5. Now it seems that these claims are not true.
Exclusivity ends.
The new version of the iPhone makes that the iPhone will be sold by multiple operators in the United States. Verizon, the largest mobile operator in the country, will now also offer Apples popular handset. In many countries, the exclusivity of the iPhone was stopped earlier this year, whilst in other exclusivity of the iPhone 4 never existed.
American can purchase the new version of the iPhone with a Verizon contract staring February 10th.
